Ty's Rat Shack

Frequently Asked Question

  • There's a design/size I want that you don't have listed. Could you make it?
If there is anything you'd like that I don't have listed shoot me a message! I can take a look and if it is possible, I would love    to accommodate your request.
  • Can I send in my own fabric?
You can certainly send in your own fabric if you would like me to make hammocks with them.
  • What types of payment do you accept?
I accept Paypal, cash, check, or money order. Please note that no hammocks will be cut or made before payment has cleared so in the case of checks this will delay your order. Paypal can be used to pay via your credit or debit card and you do not need an account to use it.

Shipping and Handling

  •  How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated based on weight and your shipping address zipcode. If you'd like an estimate, I can provide that once I have an idea of what you'd like to order as well as your zipcode.
  • How long will it be until my order ships?
Premades will ship the next day unless you place your order on a Saturday in which case your package will be sent out on Monday. Turnaround time for custom orders depends on the volume of orders I have at the time and I will do my best to give you an accurate estimate.

International Orders

  •  Do you accept international orders?
Yes, I do! I have shipped my hammocks all over the world from South Korea, Ireland, Australia, Canada, and more. Hammocks will be shipped via USPS First Class as this is the cheapest option. For international orders I only accept Paypal payment.

About the Products

  •  Are your hammocks washable?
Yes, all hammocks are machine washable. I recommend using unscented detergent, no bleach, and using delicate cycle. I personally add vinegar to cut the smell. You can dry normally.
  • Any safety issues?
My products are sewn with safety of your pets in mind and are made with the highest standards. I take feedback and suggestions seriously. Although I take safety seriously, I cannot be held responsible for the safety of your pets. Please be vigilant about checking hammocks for loose threads or holes. If a hammock has too many holes that can be a serious danger for your pet and it is most likely time to retire that hammock.
